BioWare as given us two (2) slots to award to members of our community for the upcoming Neverwinter Nights beta program. With that we would like to announce the contest that we will use to determine who will get those slots. If you submit one of the two winning spells, you will join those that get to take the first steps into the lands of Neverwinter.

Have you ever played Dungeons & Dragons and found yourself wanting a specific spell but it is no where to be found and wished you could create it yourself? Well here is your chance! Create and submit the best spell that is not in Dungeons & Dragons but should be for your chance at winning a "Get into the Neverwinter Nights Beta Free" card!

1. Submit the user name and email address you used to register on http://www.betatests.net with your spell entry so that if you are a winner, so that we are able to forward your account information to BioWare. The winners must register on http://www.betatests.net in order to participate in the NWN Beta test.
   
   
2. The spell submission must follow the standard spell format used in the Dungeons & Dragons Players Handbook which include the following:

   Spell Name:
   Level:
   Components:
   Casting Time:
   Range:
   Effect:
   Target:
   Duration:
   Saving Throw:
   Spell Resistance:
   Description:

3. The spell submitted must be a viable spell. Any spell that is excessive or absurd, such as "Ultimate Death" - a spell that kills everything within 20 meters of your location - or does not contain the required information (as listed above) will be disqualified. The goal is a spells that could be added to D&D and is as complete as possible.
   
   
4. You may submit as many spells for the contest as you wish.
   
   
5. Send your contest entry(s) to nwn@stratics.com. All spell submissions must be received by Friday, May 24th at 12:00 noon PST (8:00 PM GMT).
   
   
6. The description of the spell will be used to determine the ten finalists.
   
   
7. The staff of Neverwinter Nights Stratics will chose the top ten spell submissions which will be listed in our poll on our main webpage at http://nwn.stratics.com with the title of each linked to the full spell description allowing our community to help select the winners on May 25th at 12:00 noon PST (8:00 PM GMT). Due to an error in the posted date we will accept additional spells through Saturday, May 25th at 12:00 noon PST (8:00 PM GMT) with the contest voting starting as soon as possible there after. Sorry for the error.
   
   
8. The winners will be sent to BioWare for inclusion on May 31 at 12:00 noon PST (8:00 PM GMT).
   
   
9. Staff of Neverwinter Nights Stratics is not eligible for this contest.
